I arrived at CPH airport on a sunny afternoon and got my boarding pass at the self service kiosk.
Security check took ca. 10 minutes and soon I was airside at CPH airport were most shops and restaurants have reopened after Covid shutdown. So the airport already felt much busier and nicer again compared to 2021. I walked around and did some spotting.
A splendid looking ATR turboprop in the new SAS livery.
And some nice Norwegian action going on.
Boarding was on a remote gate position at A gates pier.
Our Airbus 319 soon arrived and was prepared for the trip back to Paris CDG in sunset colours.
Boarding was really chaotic and took very long with agents repeating announcements to ask passengers to check in hand luggage due to the fully booked flight. In the end they forced passengers in lowest fares / boarding groups to do so.
At the entrance small disinfection towels were provided.
I took my window seat in the rear of the cabin and very luckily the middle seat next to me stayed empty on this very full flight - jackpot.
Seat pitch was nothing spectacular but still ok for such a short haul flight. The cabin however already felt somehow outdated.
We left the boarding gate almost on time and taxiied out while the safety demonstration was done manually - announcements were in French, English and prerecorded Danish which was nice and professional.
Soon we took off minutes before sunset for a flight of 1 hour 40 minutes.
Air France offers some nice inflight self service for your smartphone with some information, games and most important airshow. It also comes along with the offer of different wifi packages which I did not make use of.
After a while the free of charge inflight service started. There was a choice between a cheese and salmon sandwich and I decided for the salmon sandwich roll. Along with it I had some coke and tea.
The sandwich was really bland - I could not taste any salmon at all. The cheese sandwich of my neighbour looked much better and bigger.
The flight continued quiet and we started our long descend into Paris CDG touching down on time before we had to do a very long taxi to our gate at F pier.
