Review of Qatar Airways flight from Paris to Doha in Economy

Hi everybody and welcome on this new flight-report!

Today we fly to Dubai via Doha with Qatar Airways.
Qatar Airways offers 3 daily flights between CDG and DOH. We took the first flight from Paris early in the morning.

Due to the early departure of the flight, I have to sleep directly at the airport. There are many hotels in the airport area. I choose the Ibis hotel located next to the suburban train station "Aéroport CDG 1".

7.15 AM.
After breakfast, I go to terminal 2C with the CDGVal shuttle.

First time for me in this terminal. My flight is expected on time.

I arrive at the counter where I collect my boarding pass and where they will check that the weight of my carry on bagage does not exceed 7kg. They will also check my vaccination certificate, no PCR test are required for the transit in Doha and the stay in Dubai.

A7-BES, a 4 years old Boeing 777-300er.

We boarded on time

The cabin crew aren't really friendly, the welcome wasn't very good, they don't have a smile.
Crossing throught the QSuite to go in the first economy cabin. 

My seat is located on the last row of the first economy cabin.

"Cabin crew, all customers on board!"
Incredible! The flight is really empty, this is perfect and more confortable.

New piece for my collection! :)))))) 

The IFE screen is great, the remote is located just under.

Headphones and USB sockets

A pillow and blanket are provided.

Pushback!!! Good-bye Paris!

After a short taxi time, we lined up for takeoff on runway 08L.

V1, Rotate, V2.

The crew distributed a kit containing mask, gloves and hand sanitizer. 

The aperitif was served 45 minutes after take-off with a choice of juices and wines.

It's time to eat ! Three meal choices are available:
- Chicken with rice and vegetables
- Beef Bourguignon
- Vegetarian
I choose the chicken. A hot bread roll was served on the same time.

Starter is a pasta salad with vegetable and for the dessert, a cream with toffee.

Metal cutlery and refreshing towel are provided.

After this good meal, the cabin crew serve tea and coffee.

Descent began 40 minutes before landing.

Last turn now we're lined up for landing. Smooth landing, we are on time! :)

Due to Ramadan, the crew will inform us that it is forbidden to drink or eat in public areas. 

Now, we have two hours of transit before board on our 787 to Dubai.
