The transfer in CDG is pretty easy. You have to follow the HUGE yellow signs. The naming convention remains a mystery though and that is in my opinion why people don't like CDG. Also the automatic train should join the terminal 2G and 2A/C and I miss another one in Schengen zone with 3 stops 2G, 2F and 2B/D. Then we would have a great airport there ;)
For 2G you have to take a bus but they come way more often than in LHR and are not crowded at all.
The 2G has been renewed and has implemented a pretty stupid concept if you ask me. The have game tables (chest and others) but they are never used as such and could be reworked as leisure/work place
However I am lucky enough to have access to the Air France lounge there.
The ceiling is a bit low but the decoration is very nice. The lounge can be crowded at some times though. A recurrent problem of all AF lounges after the Covid measures to extend and gain easier status.
Today's offer is stocked. You have salads, sandwiches, fruits, smoothies…
Cakes and… that's where it ends. They offer dry "croque monsieur" a warm sandwich with cream, ham and cheese. Otherwise just bacon for whatever reason ?!?
The probably nice frozen joghurt is out of order in summer. No !!!!!!!!!!!
Bacon and potatoes. More a breakfast than a mid afternoon offer.
I had however enough to refill my bully and the lounge offer 8 working spaces that are good to use.
Soon it was time to depart from one of the 2 concourses. Bare in mind that they have no seats in those. They call normally your aircraft just 10 min before start of boarding but you'll spend them standing around the gate.

Seats are modern but the magazine holder is too small for the width of a tablet :(
Modern seats. Number of E170 have decreased and the E190 have increased. I do not know what is HOP strategy on these for the future. The CRJ are leaving the fleet that's all we know so far.
3166m to start, should be more than enough.
Take-off to the east.
The service comes in no time and this time again it is a very good offer for the flight duration of 60min.
