On 9/23/13 AeroMexico made its maiden flight on th first of 9 Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners from Mexico City Intl. to Monterrey airport. What else can I say about this aircrft besides the available info on the web? This aircraft is WONDERFUL. Excellent catering and on-board services. As always, AeroMexico crew was fantastic.
At MTY airport we were received with the traditional water arch. Amazing plane.

Flight announcement. On time!

My cell, my ipad, everythig can be placed in this head set table between seats. Of course every seat has its own rechargeable unit.

Awesome ligh effects keeps you calm and cool. I always get jet lag with other aircrafts but not on this one. The internal air pressure control is magnificent.

Thanks for sharing this first report with us!

Excellent photos of the AM 787! Beautiful cabin. More comments are needed, however, to describe this trip and the service. For instance, what is the catering? How was the lounge? Please write something in the summary section to explain the grades that you gave AM and this flight. Such beautiful pictures demand more narrative :-)

Thank you very much for this FR covering a route which is not well-known here.

It looks like AM has much demand on domestic route to make wide body planes operate them.

More comments on picture would help us to know how you felt and what you liked or disliked about this flight (even if apparently it was a flawless flight :P)

Edit the report and insert the comments. Thanks for the nice report and pics. It's always exciting to fly on a new airplane, despite the controversy with this particular model. The catering looks good for a domestic segment.

Thanks for sharing your first FR and welcome aboard

It's always great to fly a new aircraft

The catering looks like the catering offered on the EZE-MEX route : it's nice for a domestic flight
