Hi,
It was a rainy day when our taxi dropped us off at the special side entrance to the Domestic terminal that Turkish Airlines premium passengers can use incl. Star Alliance Gold customers. The separate entrance and check in area is really nice and very calm.

You feel like in a completely separate airport and have direct access to a separate security control without any queues.

The security check directly ends in the Domestic Terminal Business Lounge of Turkish Airlines. The lounge is huge and ok for some rest but it does not have a very special or cosy atmosphere.

It is located at the lowest floor and is very dark - both in interior design and also misses a lot of daylight.

Still it was a nice waiting experience and I enjoyed some snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. No alcohol is served in this lounge.

Once the flight is ready for boarding, you directly leave the lounge via a special gate onto a bus that brings you to the final parking position of the plane (without contact to regular customers). This process is very relaxing and nice.
Our plane today was an Airbus 321 that has the more dense configuration without a dedicated Business Class cabin configuration (only the free block of the middle seat) and no inflight monitors. Still the cabin was very modern and clean and the seat comfortable for this short flight.

A safety video was shown on the overhead monitors and we departed with a delay of ca. 30 minutes into now more sunny skies.

Soon cabin crew started inflight service - hot drinks, some juice and water were avalaible as drinks plus a warmed tasty panini. Very nice to see such a good free of charge service in Economy Class on a short Domestic hop.

Inflight entertainment was available via personal device screening.

Soon we started our approach into Bodrum above nice Mediterranean landscape.

We parked at a remote position and all guests were shuttled to the small Domestic terminal with a main bus.
