Hi,
Being on transfer I had some time to relax at the really nice Turkish Airlines Business Lounge of the International terminal.

The Lounge is on the upper floor and is huge. It provides many different seating areas with different decors/atmospheres.

There are many different food & beverage stations throughout the Lounge.

For example a very nice tea station.

Even some self-playing piano is there.

The snacks I selected were all very tasty.

The terminal is huge and walking to your gate can take quite long - however passing some nice planes from all over the world.

Boarding had just started when I reached the gate and there was a dedicated priority lane which worked rather good.

The cabin on this narrowbody felt nice and new with real comfortable Business Class seats.

Soon non-alcoholic welcome drinks were offered.

Followed by a printed menu for the dinner service.

Headphones were distibuted as well.

We soon started our long taxi while a safety video was played.

We departed with a delay of ca. 50 minutes into the afternoon sky.

The seat is very comfortable incl. TV monitors.

Hot towels were provided and now it started to show that the cabin crew on this flight was really unfriendly and not interested in providing a good service - especially the older female purser had a really bad day.

Starter trays were placed without any words of the crew. However at least the food was very nice presented and tasted very good. Warm bread and drinks were served next.

The flight continued with some light turbulence.

A while later main courses were presented on a trolley and I opted for the fish which was tasty.

In case you wanted to have more drinks or coffee you always had to contact the unfriendly crew who brought the ordered drinks to you without any smiles.

We started descend after a while and an otherwise quiet flight.

Landing at Munich and parking at Terminal 1.

Turkish really know how to do lounges. The lounge in the old IST terminal was already one of the best J lounges in the world, and now they're done even better with the new airport!
Too bad about the surley cabin crew--as you say, they're human and anyone can have a bad day. Luckily the hard and soft products were very good. I really wish other airlines within Europe had a true Business class recliner seat like TK.
Thanks for sharing!
