JETBLUE AIRWAYS A321neoLR review - New York (JFK) to London Heathrow (LHR)
Today, I am flying from New York JFK to London Heathrow on JetBlue's flagship flight in Mint, their business class product. I am so fortunate to be able to review this and since I was so excited for this flight and didn't want to miss it, I opted for the longer connection to ensure I would be ok. We landed just before 5 in JFK for my 10pm flight, which actually wasn't too bad since there is so much to do in JFK airport T5.

JetBlue also offers a rooftop "lounge" outside. There are some benches, places to walk around, and a great place to relax in the summer before a flight. Yeah, it was cold, but I just had to check out this unique feature.

The terminal is great, as well. There are plenty of places to eat, shop, and more. In terms of actual lounges, well, it's tough. JetBlue is supposedly working on a lounge, but nothing has been made official yet. There is an Aer Lingus lounge in T5, but they only accept passengers flying on their airline. I feel as though they could make so much off of JetBlue passengers by accepting Priority Pass. Anyhow, soon enough, we began to board. Mint passengers get priority boarding, right behind special assistance.

First impressions were wow, wow, and more wow. This looks incredible! The blue mood lighting mixed with the grays and the subtle accents of green worked so well together. You can tell that JetBlue put plenty of time and effort to making their Mint experience even better than before, and it shows.

My seat for this ride over to Heathrow was 4A. All seats have direct aisle access along with a fully closing door, which can be activated after 10,000 feet.

The seat was much more roomy than it appears in pictures and videos, but I can assure you that there is plenty of room. While i was hesitant about the somewhat inward facing seats, I realized that you can still look out the window pretty well, and it wasn't too significant. From my seat, I couldn't see anyone. To talk to my neighbor, I would have had to take off my seatbelt and look over the "wall". Seat controls were to the right of the seat, which transforms to a lie flat bed.

The screen was massive, and was touch screen and remote controlled.

Pre departure drinks were served, and we took off in the night to head towards Heathrow!

After takeoff, cabin crew came around with our dinner orders, which were placed before departure. From their menu, JetBlue allows you to pick 3 main dishes of the 5.

All of the dishes hit the spot, and they were all perfect. They soon came around with desert, which was a raspberry ice cream sundae. It was frozen solid, but after 2 minutes, it was perfect to eat.

Soon, it was bed time. Once laying down, I noticed all the small details of the seat. For example, the 3 power points with USB, as well as the lamp that is incorporated into the seat. JetBlue also added blue mood lighting to the seat itself, which I found so cool.

After waking up, breakfast was served. It was a smaller portion than the dinner, but still very filling.

We began our descent and soon landed in London Heathrow.

Thank you for this flight report. The seats look much more comfortable than on any other narrowbody aircraft on the transatlantic route. Catering also looks quite good.
Awesome to see a review on the new JetBlue Mint suites! By far the best narrow body business class seat currently on the market. And of course JetBlue soft product is always top notch. Hopefully they keep up the reasonable pricing.
Thanks for sharing!
Nice review! I like to think that JetBlue will revolutionise the trans-Atlantic travel experience. Hopefully they will fare better than prior attempts from Europe.
