Hi,
After a smooth check in and security control I took the airside train to reach the satellite building of Terminal 2 where I had a very short stop at the Schengen area Senator Lounge for a cup of coffee.
The lounge was not too crowded and has plenty of choices. However I skipped breakfast here.
Some views on the way to my boarding gate.
Boarding started on time and I took my window seat.
No special Business Class attention or any service while on the ground.
We pushed back and taxied for departure - soon we climbed through the skies for this 1 hour 15 minutes flight,
Curtains were closed.
Soon a small cold breakfast tray was offered with warm bread and croissants from a basket.
Drinks followed soon from a trolley - the cabin crew were friendly and happy to provide refills.
Later into the flight chocolates were offered as well, followed by a fresh apple.
Descend started soon and we landed at a cloudy Schiphol airport.
A very long taxiing followed before we reached our gate.

So all I've read about LH is true. Their service leaves much to be desired. Is that really a J cabin?? I'm not against a healthy diet, but... an apple?? Just the way it came into existence? Not even a teeny weeny bit of icing sugar on it? Gosh. I'm in shock.
