Hi,
I had no luggage to check in so I directly headed to the Priority security check which was a breeze.

Once airside I headed to the Virgin Australia Lounge.

The Lounge is great with plenty of different seating options on different levels and great apron views.

Breakfast buffet provides some basic and tasty options without being exceptional.

The coffee options from the barrista are tasty however please expect quite some waiting here.

My choices:

Boarding started on time in a very professional way with a dedicated priority lane.

My aisle seat in the second and last row was comfortable however definitely showed signs of age and was rather worn.

The friendly crew soon approached me and offered to hang up my jacket which was a nice gesture.
Next welcome drinks of water or orange juice were offered.

Still on the ground Business Class were asked for their breakfast wishes: an egg & mushroom dish or some parfait with granola. I decided for the parfait. Also drink orders were already taken on ground.
We taxied out and departed on time for a short hop to the Australian capital taking only 45 minutes this morning.

About 10 minutes into the flight I was served my tasty and very plentiful breakfast for this short flight.

We soon started descend and landed on time.

Thank you very much for sharing this series of reports that let us see where we can get value for our money. One thing I learned today is that buying a ticket from LH is much like buying clothes from AliExpress. You have to go for two sizes bigger than usual! lol If you want to fly J with LH you have to pay for F because their J cabin looks like W on other airlines.
Virgin seems to be doing a good job!
Have a nice week!
