Hello all !
As promised in my previous FR, this new opus will take place on another continent, America !
By the way, this will be my first report in English, I hope it will be understandable for you all ;)
This FR recall my US trip during last December. The main destination of this trip was St Louis, MO.
After a few days in Missouri, I took advantage of being in the US to go and see some friends in Florida.
The inbound flights between Paris and St Louis won't be reported, as I was not travelling on my own.
The global routing is :
1. Paris CDG - Newark, United B757-300, eco [no FR]
2. Newark - Chicago, United A319, premium [no FR]
3. Chicago - St Louis, Southwest B737-300, eco [no FR]
4. St Louis - Atlanta, Delta B737-800, premium [you are here]
5. Atlanta - Tampa, Delta B757-200, premium
6. Tampa - Newark, United A320, first
7. Newark - Brussels, United B777-200, eco
8. Brussels - Paris CDG, Brussels A320, eco [no FR, as I've done almost the same flight 20 days before, see here]
So here we are at entry #5 of Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (very frenchy name, don't you think so ? ^^)
The pic is displayed as shot. Could you guess which company name used to be between United and Alaska ?

Inside Lambert terminal. Very bright with those white vaults.

Thanks to my Flying Blue Gold status, i have access to the SkyPriority lane.
My bag is therefore checked very quickly.

In the corridors to the security, several screens display active maps of the airport.

Once again with my Skypriority boarding pass, I go through security very quickly.
I am in no time in the concourse A.

Very convenient indeed, as my boarding gate will be A4, just next to a famous French bakery chain.

No Delta Skyclub in this concourse (anyway, i'm not sure i would have get access to it with my non-US status ?).
Lavatories are clean and in good condition.

Back to gate A4, here is my plane arriving from Atlanta.

Just having time to check my emails with the airport complimentary wifi.

And to make the corporate pic of course ! (with some nice US carpet for Pititom ^^)

Time to board. People are getting ready.
The flight is overbooked. Delta agents will make several calls for volunteers.
I went to the desk and propose to be volounteer. Unfortunately, my flight to Tampa was also oversold, so the agent cannot rebook me on another flight. But I appreciate it, thank you sir !
It takes some time to find some volunteers, so the flight is delayed.

On your mark… Set… Go !
Here again, Skypriority is well named.

View of my boarding pass, graffed by security, as usual.
This is my 30th qualifing flight of the year, synonym of my Flying Blue Gold status renewal ! :)

Our neighbor, a Delta MD-90.

On the way to the runway, with a last view on STL.

Security measures shown on central screens, very helpfull to get the exact model of aircraft ;)

Seat pocket content, with the unmissable SkyMall !

My SkyMall choice for this flight : the singing toothbrush :D

Nice information found in the Delta inflight magazine : camera permitted all the time !

Very small catering, but acceptable as minimum for this 1h28 flight.

Start of descent, view on the winglet.

Approaching ATL.

This is certainly NOT Jackson Hartsfield ^^

Arrival at Delta's home since 1941

I just have 1h between my 2 flights, and we are 10 min late. Let's found my next flight and rushing towards it !

Thank you for reading, don't miss the next report to know if I get my connection or not :)
I read recently that AFsimialrly relaxed its policy towards electronic equipment on board the aircraft.
Welcome in the Non Native English FR Writers' Club !
I read recently that AF relaxed its policy towards electronic equipment on board the aircraft in a similar manner (I did not read the fine print, but got the point that I would no longer need to hide from the FAs to take pictures during take off and landing).
Welcome in the Non Native English FR Writers' Club !
I am sure you made it ! Atlanta is a great place to transit through...
Thanks for this FR.
Thanks for this short report with nice pictures.
At least DL makes an effort to provide something for those passengers in Y. UA and AA do not give you anything to snack on.
@ all : thanks for your comments :)
Thanks for sharing! As mentionnes by Jetsetpanda, DL is the only US legacy carrier that offers a snack in coach, so it's actually above US standards ...which is sad, I know :-)
Thank you for this FR and welcome aboard...the English community :)
30th segment on December 13th...that is about to be cheap Gold :D !!
Thank you DL for this snack, but it's still under....Southwest standards....!
