Hi,
Being on transfer I soon headed to the Lufthansa Business Lounge in B gates area that Condor's Business Class customers are entitled to use at Frankfurt.

The lounge is located on the top floor and is airy and provides lot of different seating areas. It provides a comfortable stay but feels a little bit boring and sterile.

Luckily it was not very busy this afternoon.

The offered food from the cold and warm buffets was also quite tasty without being special.

I was really excited to see this extraordinary looking brand new Condor A330neo waiting at the gate for boarding.

Boarding started on time with priority boarding first - Business Class used a dedicated airbrdidge through the first door. A very friendly and always smiling cabin crew welcomed me and I stepped into this brand new splendid looking Business Class cabin.

Travelling with a companion I selected the center seats that are close together in order to allow conversation and meals together. The seats are comfortable and provide a lot of legroom.

A side console provides a nice stowage area.

Some crackers, headsets and the amenity kit were already waiting at the seat.

The amenity kit comes with a practical and nicly designed travel organizer bag - you can e.g. use it to collect dirty laundry during your holiday for the journey home in your luggage. The amenities came separately in a paper package and were nice but rather basic.

A very comfortable pillow and blanket were also waiting.
The extremely friendly crew offered welcome drinks and refills many times - I had some sparkling wine.

Doors were closed and during taxi mood lighting was turned which provided a very modern atmosphere.

We departed into a southern direction and climbed to our cruising altitude for this long 11hours30minutes flight to the Indian Ocean.
Once the seatbelt signs were turned off, nice menus were distributed.

Ca. 10 minutes later main course choices were taken and I opted for the fish.
Next the drinks trolley appeared for aperitif with some tasty nuts. Service was extremly friendly and relaxed with an always smiling cabin crew bringing a holiday mode on board.

Starter trays were offered next with a warm selection of tasty breads from a basket. Drinks were offered again.

I love the cute small salt & pepper Condor planes:

Starter trays were cleared, main course and more drinks served. The service had a very good and well organized flow with drink glasses having no chance to get empty into late after dessert service.

Next cheese plates were proactively offered from a tray.

Followed by a tasty dessert to end the very good dinner service. I had some coffee and Baileys with it. The coffee mug comes with a nice Condor design.

I also had a nice cup of espresso after my meal.

After some movies I got some sleep on the comfortable seat in bed mode.
About 2 hours out of Mauritius lights were turned on and hot towels were offered.

Next a tasty and comprehensive breakfast was offered. It aso came with some very tasty freshly squeezed orange juice.

We landed on time and after a great Condor flight holiday was about to start!

Nice to see a report on the new Condor A330neo!
They sure went all out with the stripes--not just on the outside, but all over the cabin too! Like many people, I don't know how I feel about the livery, I don't particularly find it attractive, but I will say that it sure makes Condor stand out! A very bold branding move that I believe has been paying off for them so far as they've definitely created a lot of buzz about them, whereas before they were not very well-known outside of Germany.
While I'm not a fan of the strip livery, I rather like the stripes in the cabin. They really give it a beach/holiday feel, which I believe was the intent, to make people think of beach towels.
The seats look great and I love that they have the staggered configuration which allows couples travelling together or families to actually sit together in the centre section. With solo seats by the windows, there's really something for everyone. I much prefer having these options than all seats being far apart where you can't speak to your family/travel companions.
I am very pleasantly surprised by the catering. It looks great--better than full-service Lufthansa.
Thanks for sharing!
