Since this is one of my very first post, most of my value content are in video format. But I'd also love to share my personal experience in writing.
Check-in Experience: In Jakarta Airport T3, it's relatively new. Everyone needs to pass a luggage X-Ray scan when entered into the airport. This time, i use China Airlines miles to upgrade from Economy to Business one way and cost 15000 points since it's going to expire within 3 months. And this time really expand my business class travel experience.
As usual, does not require to queue when check-in with Sky Priority Sign. In Jakarta Airport, there's no fast track for normal business class passenger in custom control. Why i say normal business class, because only Garuda Indonesia Business Class passengers has special fast track even for custom desk.
Transfer Experience: N/A
Lounge Experience: I visited Garuda Indonesia Business Class Lounge & Sapphire Plaza Premium lounge. The reason i went to 2 lounges, because Garuda lounge was just too disappointed. Food & environment both are coming with questioned quality.. And the cleanness in the toilet is a big challenge.
Later i went to Sapphire Plaza Premium lounge. Technically it's new, but Terminal 3 is basically new, so both lounge shouldn't have huge difference. Mostly because of the maintenance in Garuda. The Plaza Premium Lounge doesn't accept Priority Pass that time (not sure now) So the environment / design / drinks quality are good. Also equipped shower facility which is very clean. However the food is definitely somewhere they have room to improve. The fresh made soup is extremely salty. This is the only drawback.
Flying & Seating Experience: This is my first flying experience in TK Business Class. Of course, it was pretty excited and enjoyed the priory boarding. Welcome drinks and menu had been delivered. The crew took the pre-order it was a great way to manage the schedule. The seat support lie-flat and it was too comfortable with the bed sjeets. After having the excellent onboard dining. I immediately fall asleep for at least 7 hours. Can sleep well onboard is really a privilege compare to Economy & Premium Economy Class. I posted few photos in the review. Conclusion
I was flying China Airlines in Business Class A350-900 from Jakarta to Taipei. Experience the Indonesian Home Base Lounge - Garuda Indonesia Business Class Lounge (Skyteam) but the quality is not good. I headed to newly opened Sapphire - Plaza Premium Lounge by having credit card which can support entering Plaza Premium Lounge. Finally, I review the China Airlines A350-900 Business Class Seat & Services. The lie-flat seat was great, cleanness had no problem. The service is average even the flight is not really full. I found out in China Airlines, if the aircraft type is newer, the service level is lower than flying old aircraft like A330-300(will share this video later) The onboard dining was fine. but the main courses wasn't ideal. It's all belongs to my personal opinion during this single trip only. Hope you like my experience !
