Hi,
It was still quite early in the morning when I arrived at a quiet and nice Lufthansa Senator Lounge in the H gates level.
The lounge must have received some minor refurbishment since my last visit with new arm chairs that gave a more modern and clean feeling compared to before.

The bar with fresh coffee barista service is nice as well.

I had a tasty quick breakfast.

Some views outside on the way to my gate on this sunny morning.

This Lufthansa flight to Dublin is operated by Discover Airlines, the leisure carrier of LH group with full Discover crew. However the provided service on board this flight is fully Lufthansa standard and not Discover service like on dedicated Discover flights to the Mediterranean.

The crew onboard was friendly and in a good mode and I took my aisle seat in the first row.
Cabin is in full Discover design.

We took off with a slight delay and started our flight of 2 hours to Dublin.

Soon drinks were offered where I ordered fresh orange juice and coffee.

Next a small cold but tasty breakfast was served. Warm bread and croissants were also offered multiple times from a basket.

The crew was friendly and offered refills several times during the flight.
After the meal service some fine chocolates were offered followed by the typical Lufthansa farewell chocolate.

Thanks for reading,
FlyAlex
Interesting to see this review on Eurowings Discover operating for LH...I guess technically Discover Airlines now (LH sub-brands can be so confusing!). Service on board being fully Lufthansa and the seats being the same as mainline LH it really doesn't make much of a difference, if at all. I agree it's a shame that it wasn't a hot meal on this reasonably long intra-European flight. I think most other European carriers would serve a hot meal on a similar length flight. I will say, however, that the contents of the cold meal do look quite good.
Thanks for sharing!
