MSP Layover and delta skyclub
Flight routing
- 1
- 21030 - Premium Eco - Minneapolis - San Francisco - Boeing 757
We just arrived from DCA on a quick, pleasant Delta flight (see previous report). Our next stop was the MSP SkyClub to grab a bite before heading to SFO.

The Club was a bit crowded but as evening flights started to depart, it quickly got empty.

Remaining evening departures

The food selection was not bad. The ribs were particularly good and so were the chicken wraps.

We also grabbed some cookies, just in case :)

Headed to Gate D2, about 5 minutes away from the SkyClub, where our flight was about to begin boarding.

BOARDING
Boarding was done very organized and by groups.

Jetbridge

This time I did not miss the emblematic “Esteban” moment .

Flight
Our seats were in the mini C+ cabin, right behind first class. But surprise, trash from the previous flight was not collected. We immediately signaled this to a crew member, who was apologetic and collected the trash. We still sanitized the seat with some alcohol pad, just in case :)

The seat pitch was extremely generous, the C+ mini cabin on the 757s is by far, my favorite. We were also lucky enough to have the seat next to us empty, something rare on a Thursday evening flight.

View of the AC console and a glimpse of the F cabin.

Departure on time, followed by the security video.

Rainy departure from MSP.

Tonight’s route

Immediately after departure, drinks and snacks were served. I went for Prosecco, pretzel, and biscoff cookies this time.

The rest of the flight was uneventful. A second round of snacks and drinks was served about 1.5 hours before landing, although drinks were available throughout the flight.

Approaching the Bay Area with a nice view of San Francisco, including the Bay Bridge, Treasure Island, and even Market Street.

arrival
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take pictures of the landing. Arrival was on time at Gate C11.

We then proceeded to walk for about 15 minutes until we reached the exit and the baggage claim area.

Welcome to San Francisco! Thank you for reading.
I love 757s and Delta's look brand new on the inside, despite their age, thanks to the newer cabins. The only thing I don't like about DL cabins is the lack of real separation between F and Y--I've found that annoying when flying F. As an AA flyer, I wasn't happy when AA copied DL on density when they rolled out their new Oasis cabins, but they ended up installing bigger cabin separators when too many passengers complained.
Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome! I actually take advantage of the lack of separation when seating in the first row of Comfort , as the legroom is infinite since there's a first class seat in front, and there's no need to stow the personal items on the bins. ?
