Hi everyone!
Welcome to my Flight Report. In this report, I want to share about my trip back to Surabaya from Johor Bahru with Indonesia AirAsia. I decided to choose Indonesia AirAsia because it was the cheapest price.
I decided to go to the airport at around 15:30 and arrived at around 16:00 by using taxi. Then, I went inside the terminal building.

After passed some shops, I proceeded directly to the departure area because I have checked in online through the AirAsia mobile apps, but the AirAsia staff told me to wait because I could only go inside 2 hours before the flight, so I waited with the other passengers in line.

At around 17:10, the AirAsia staff and the airport security validated my boarding pass, then I proceeded to the security check area. After that, I went upstairs and turned left towards the immigration. After clearing the immigration, I waited for my flight at Gate G1 (special gate only for international flights with only one toilet, one convenience store, and one duty free shop inside the gate).

My plane just landed from Surabaya

After the final passenger got off the plane from the previous flight, boarding directly commenced, starting from zone 1 (row 1-5), zone 2 (row 20-31), and finally zone 3 (row 6-19).

Cabin condition during boarding

There are many scratches on the windows which are annoying and make the view unclear.

The plane departed on schedule. After reaching the cruising altitude, the flight attendant distributed the pre-book meals, then the onboard sale (meals and souvenirs) began.

Wi-Fi is available on AirAsia flights, but only for limited access on the AirAsia inflight apps such as articles, news, and short videos about cooking and tourism.

Descending into Surabaya

Touched down on time and directly taxiing to the gate.

Unfortunately all the gates were full with the other planes that had arrived before my flight, so my plane was parked at the end of the taxiway (not a remote stand) without aerobridge and everyone had to get off the plane using the stairs and taken to the terminal by bus.

Boarding the bus

After getting off the bus, I went to the immigration. After that, I passed the baggage claim area and proceeded to the customs where everyone had to fill the customs form through the customs website and showed the barcode to the customs officer (otherwise, they won't let you out). After I passed the baggage inspection area, I went home by using taxi.
