Wow you win the record for longest user name ever, haha. Thanks for sharing your first report here with us! Flying on a legacy carrier on a regional flight within Asia is just such a huge level above flying within Europe or North America. A much higher chance of flying a widebody, IFE more often than not, and free meals is as good as it can get on a 4h regional flight.
Welcome!
Thanks for your warm welcome,
Yes indeed flying short haul in Asia is the best, I dread flying regional in Europe or the US.
Thanks for sharing your first report with us!
The BR A330s are a mixed bag, you get the comfier seats and better 2-4-2 configuration, but you compromise the older IFE (albeit not as old as the A332’s). With the retirement of the A330s planned, wouldn’t expect them to change their Y seats before ending the leases.
Overall, the meal service looks good on BR with the non-disposable dishes (but no metal cutlery, correct?), Decent protein serving size and even serve duck for the appetizer.
PS - It is easier to read if the text is above the photos.
Maybe I am being a bit harsh, but I couldn't believe that the Aircraft was only built in 2017 because the quality and resolution of the IFE screens makes the plane look like it was built in 2007.
To be fair, they did give metal cutlerys, and the meal is really good.
Also, thanks for the advice
Beautiful review and a great read with nice photos !
great and intresting flight report even with nice pictures
