Hi,
It was a nice quiet morning and Check In at the Swiss Business Class desks was very quick and extremely friendly.

Fast Track security also was very quick and soon I was airside.
Some nice action on the apron while heading to the lounge. I visited the very nice and extremely calm Swiss Alpine Lounge.

The lounge has a very cozy Alpine style interior and nice apron views.

View outside:

The breakfast buffet was very nice and also offered freshly prepared egg dishes.

My selection.

A view of the nice Edelweiss A320 that would take me to Lanzarote island today.

Priority boarding started on time and I was greeted very friendly and took my nice window seat.

On the seat was already a stylish pillow, refreshing towel and some water.

The reading material:

Boarding came to an end and a very friendly crew member came around, describing the two main course choices: Veal meat dish or vegetarian Gnocchi. I ordered the meat.
Some views outside while the plane was prepared for taxi and a safety video played.

Unfortunately just now the captain was informed about some air traffic control strike on Lanzarote and because of this we had to wait ca. 1 hour before we could start taxiing.
We made our way to the runway.

Departing into cloudy skies.

Once airborne the extremely friendly and great inflight service of the male Purser and a female cabin attendant started. Flight time would be slightly more than 4 hours.
Curtains to Economy Class were closed and then nice table clothes were laid out - this is extremely rare with intra-European flight but a great feature!

Next an aperitif service started and from two different Champagnes available I selected a very nice Rosé Champagne.

The service was very relaxed and the crew passed by very frequently and always at the right time to offer drink refills.
Next was a cold appetizer tray and salad plus some very tasty warm bread from a basket.

More drink refills and then the dirty dishes were cleared before the warm main course was served separately.

After the main course dessert was served along with hot drinks and digestif service. All tasted great.

To end the meal service, the cabin crew distributed fine Swiss chocolates from a nice box.

The flight passed by very smoothly and I also enjoyed the Edelweiss inflight entertainment streaming service on my mobile device.

Ca. one hour before landing the crew offered another drink service with a snack basket.

Just before descend, hot towels were distributed.

For farewell some nice 'Biberli' sweet was also distributed.

We landed on the nice island of Lanzarote and passed to a remote parking position where we disembarked onto a bus to bring us to the arrivals hall.

Thanks for reading,

Whaou!!! Thanks Alex for sharing this.
As you say PERFECT flight. Nothing else to add. Interesting to see that the Swiss group leisure carrier has overpassed the mother company in terms of service and bord product…
A+
