Hi everyone!
Welcome to my Flight Report. In this report, I want to share with you about my trip back to Indonesia from Kuala Lumpur with AirAsia. After spending one week in Kuala Lumpur for holiday, I had to go back to Indonesia because my holiday was over. I chose this flight because the price was cheap. I decided to go to the airport earlier in order to avoid long queue before going to the gate.

Check-In Hall

I already checked-in online throught the AirAsia mobile app (because there is extra fee if you check-in through the counter), so I went straight inside passing the check-in counter. Before you can enter the security check and immigration, there will be a baggage weight check for all passengers (maximum 7 kg). Since my luggage turned out to be overweight, I had to take out some of my stuff inside the luggage and carried it inside in a plastic bag. After that, I went to the boarding pass and passport verification counter. Because I arrived too early for my flight, the staff didn't allow me to go inside and told me to go back at 3 a.m. due to the new regulation to avoid jam inside the terminal building, so I waited at a cafe inside the check in hall area.

At 3 a.m., I went inside the terminal.

Again, my luggage was weighed, then I proceeded to the the boarding pass and passport verification counter, immigration, and security check for luggage and bag. After that, I went to Pier L because my flight would depart from Gate L5. Before entering all the boarding gate or waiting area in Pier L (and other pier also), there will be a security check for all passengers and their belongings. After that, I went straight to the gate and waited for my flight.
