Going Home
After arriving in HKIA, It was time for about a 2 hour layover at the airport, the gate hadn't been announced at the time so we just waited near the V shaped concourse
Spotting at HKIA
To kills some time while waiting for my flight, I decided to photograph some planes

EVA Air Boeing 787-9 B17883 operating as BR868 from Hong Kong to Taipei

I spot 4 Cathay planes here, 2 777s, 1 A350 and a mystery plane behind the A350

Cathay Pacific Airbus A330-300 B-LAO that just arrived from Shanghai, waiting for its next flight to Ho Chi Minh City

Korean Air Airbus A330-300 HL77720 flying as KE174 back to Seoul

Japan Airlines Boeing 787-9 JA870J departing as JL26 to Tokyo-Haneda

ANA (operated by Air Japan) Boeing 787-8 JA806A soon to fly to Tokyo-Haneda as NH860
Boarding and Seats

Soon it was time for boarding, very orderly and efficient

The plane is registered as B-LAP, a 2012 delivered Airbus A330-300

A Cathay Pacific A350 next door neighbor

The economy class cabin

My seat, 48G

My poor attempt to take photos since I was in the middle seat
Taxi and Take-Off

Soon, both pushback and the safety video commenced

A Lufthansa A340-600 just arrived from Frankfurt as LH796

A Cathay Pacific 777-300

A United Boeing 787-9 arrived from LAX as UA801

2 Cathay Pacific aircrafts

Lineup and take-off (no photos or videos, sorry)
Cruising altitude and Dinner

Photos of the cabin from my seat

Photo from the tiny window at the aircraft door

Finally, food was served. I got Sweet chicken with rice and vegetables, fruits, bread, a small noodle cup, ice cream and apple juice. Not as delicious as the previous meal I say.

I asked my friend at the window seat to take photos of this very nice sunset
Landing

Soon, the announcement came that we were landing very soon

So the planes lights were dimmed for landing

Poor images of Jakarta below
After landing, we taxied for a while since we parked on the Terminal 1 side of CGK

Disembarking, while passing by the Business Class section

Hi thanks for sharing. Good experience in Economy with Cathay as usual. Make sure that you blur recognisable faces in your photos per our rules please. It's easy to do with the blurring tool in the editor. I went ahead and did it for you on this one, but please remember to do it in the future. I know image rights are different in different countries, but we prefer faces be blurred out of respect for privacy no matter the country of the review. Thanks!
Also I notice you have some sideways photos here and there (legroom and food). You may not be aware, but you can rotate photos inside the Editor tool if you go to "My Pictures"---it's in the same place as the face blurring tool. Hope that helps!
Sorry for my forgetfulness, I'll keep it in mind next time
