Going Home

After arriving in HKIA, It was time for about a 2 hour layover at the airport, the gate hadn't been announced at the time so we just waited near the V shaped concourse

Spotting at HKIA

To kills some time while waiting for my flight, I decided to photograph some planes

Finally, food was served. I got Sweet chicken with rice and vegetables, fruits, bread, a small noodle cup, ice cream and apple juice. Not as delicious as the previous meal I say.

I asked my friend at the window seat to take photos of this very nice sunset

Landing

Conclusion

Cathay Pacific: After flying about 4 flights across 2 weeks on Cathay Pacific, I have to say that I prefer the larger IFE and entertainment selection of their 777s rather than the A330s. But all 4 flights still excel very well in the meal, cabin and the comfort
HKG: The airport is very large, meaning getting around is tiring, although the meal options are very good
CGK: Because my group had Indonesian passports, we could breeze through immigration with the automatic gates, very efficient. The arrival hall looked better with the new potted plants, though cleanliness leaves much to be desired.

  • Hi thanks for sharing. Good experience in Economy with Cathay as usual. Make sure that you blur recognisable faces in your photos per our rules please. It's easy to do with the blurring tool in the editor. I went ahead and did it for you on this one, but please remember to do it in the future. I know image rights are different in different countries, but we prefer faces be blurred out of respect for privacy no matter the country of the review. Thanks!

    • Also I notice you have some sideways photos here and there (legroom and food). You may not be aware, but you can rotate photos inside the Editor tool if you go to "My Pictures"---it's in the same place as the face blurring tool. Hope that helps!

    • Sorry for my forgetfulness, I'll keep it in mind next time
