Krakow Airport was very busy and crowded this afternoon as also many flights were seriously delayed by stormy weather in the area. Luckily boarding via bus for this Air Dolomiti flight to Munich in cooperation with Lufthansa started almost on time.
I took a window seat in the very last row of the cabin. The seat pitch was very good and the cabin nice and modern.
Unfortunately on the plane we were informed about a delay of about 30 minutes because of weather conditions.
Finally we started to move and soon took off.
Air Dolomiti offers a nice free of charge streaming service on your personal mobile device with some entertainment options including a moving map.
Our climb to cruising altitude was bumpy but soon it got more quiet and cabin crew started to distribute a free of charge bottle of water plus a small cookie which tasted good.
Next it was announced that the inflight service 'SpazioItalia Bar' was about to start. I had a look at the nicely designed menu.
I decided to buy a cup of illy coffee for 3 EUR. Throughout the flight the cabin crew in general was friendly but not super warm and welcoming.
We started our descend soon and landed in Munich with a delay of about 45 minutes.

Air Dolomiti's new cabins with the Geven seats look really nice, though it's a shame they just refurbished these recently and didn't install in-seat power. This seems to be pretty common with the Lufthansa Group carriers. I guess the reasoning is that the flights are pretty short, but with so many passengers connecting to other flights, being able to charge electronic devices is becoming more and more important. LH Group have a long way to go because they are as consistent as other major European carriers in regards to providing in-seat power on narrowbodies like AF, BA, IB, SK, TP, etc

HI Alex, thanks for sharing this head-to-head comparison of EN and LH. I much prefer EN with their comfortable E-Jets and pseudo-IFE offering, although the lounge situation for *Gs is a minus for them. For the coffee, do they allow BOB to order espresso or is it only filter coffee?
For BOB they also offer Espresso but I decided for a normal cup of coffee which is Illy Brand instant coffee.
