this is my first time visiting Russia and i have been to Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Check in
It is 1600 local time and the flight is 1900, three hours of waiting and three hours of plane spotting, Is nearly impossible for me to take pictures of Russian aircraft in Hong Kong so this is really a great opportunity.
Soon or later we will be boarding at gate 13
In 2010, this is my first flight on an Airbus 319
Safety card
Climbing to cruising altitude
A meal is provided. Although it does not look good but in fact it tasted really nice.
Landing at St. Petersburg
The plane brought me here - VT-BIT
TY-134A-3
These aircraft in SVO and LED are indeed seldom seen outside the former Soviet Union nowadays. I had never noticed that the Tu-154's rear emergency exit was partly behind the rear reactor. The glass-nosed TU-134A is really on oldie - I flew in one a looong time ago and I did not remember it was so small. Thanks for posting this interesting archive report !
Thanks for this nice report with great pictures of unusual planes.
