The Aer Lingus shorthaul flight from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, Terminal 1, to Dublin in business class is an underwhelming experience that left me less impressed than with Air France economy flights I have taken on the same route.
Seat 1A was an acceptably comfortable seat that is leather. Seating is with one seat free in the middle and a three seat row.
There is no inflight service to speak of. Economy passengers seem to get more attention. There is no food and I was only asked if I want a cup of coffee about twenty minutes into the flight. One of the crew flying next to me must know how bad the service is as he asked for a double whiskey.
It's not a bad experience as the flight was just about on time and the plane seems well maintained, but the absence of any business class inflight service makes this flight exceedingly underwhelming and poor value for money, even with a relatively cheap price. It's not the first time I have been disappointed by a European flight on the Aer Lingus. My advice: avoid Aer Lingus business class in Europe.

Hi there thanks for sharing your first review here with us and welcome!
Wow I’m surprised there was no service at all. Usually they give you a complimentary choice of something from the buy on board menu. Agree that short haul business isn’t worth it on its own, only when connecting as part of a transatlantic itinerary.
Feels more like the airline is pushing flight attendants to provide buy-on-board service to gain more revenue and actually forgetting to cater those who actually paid more for their seat. EI hasn't been great and I fear they're just trying to get by from Dublin with Ryanair being there.
IAG is really going into a wrong direction with their airlines.
