Hi,
After arriving by train to Zurich Airport, I quickly proceeded to the very convenient checkin area directly above the train station where my luggage was dropped of without any waiting.

Security was also passed some minutes later via Fast Track and I soon headed to the Swiss Alpine Lounge for a quick snack. The lounge was very quiet and I had a nice small meal there.

My selection:

On the way to the boarding gate at B gates pier I took some shots of the waiting planes on this sunny September day.

Boarding was already in progress when I reached the gate. A quick view of the A321neo from the airbridge:

The cabin looked very fresh and I took my window seat in row 3.

Refreshing towels and bottles of water were already waiting at the Business Class seats.

Seat pitch was perfectly fine.

Next to us a nice Edelweiss A340 was being prepared for its next longhaul trip.

We taxied away and the overhead monitors (nice to still see them on Swiss narrownodies) displayed the safety video.

We departed on time for a flight of ca. 2 hours.

Some nice views of Zurich while climbing to cruising altitude.

The reading material in my seat pocket:

The very friendly cabin crew soon started to bring out the trolley for an aperitif service with some nice snacks.

About 20 minutes later a warm lunch followed with a choice between two warm main courses. I opted for the chicken with polenta. Warm breads were offered from a basket multiple times. The whole meal tasted fine. It was accompanied by several more drink rounds and refills.

We crossed Germany and reached the Baltic Sea on a nice sunny day.

Once the trays were cleared I was asked for coffee or tea. I had a nice cup of tea along with my dessert. Some chocolates were offered as well.

Later in the flight all Senator Gold status frequent flyers of Lufthansa Miles & More in the Business cabin (actually 2 guests including myself) were given a big chocolate as some kind of farewell present - a really nice surprise I had never experienced before.

We started our descend with some nice views of the greater Stockholm area.

Touching down perfectly on time and parking at Terminal 5.

Thanks for reading,
FlyAlex
I enjoyed your FR! The soft product doesn't look bad, and these seats from what I've heard are an improvement over the NEK ironing boards. Side note: it looks weird seeing those 4:3 LCD overhead monitors on an A321neo with the Airspace cabin.
Thanks for sharing Alex, very nice service on LX to have aperitif service in addition to the meal tray. I guess those cost savings in Y enable them to splurge on chocolates for the M&M elites^^
