Hello English readers
it's my first report in English and it was the first time on B787 for me.
I reside in Northern France near Lille. I enjoy flying and travelling.
FLIGHT REPORT:
When I reserve my last trip of 2013 to the United Arab Emirates, it is already too late to obtain direct flights from CDG at reasonable prices for my portfolio.
Indeed the prices charged by AF and EY are prohibitive during this period.
Finally ITA matrix propose an economical solution for a flight from BRU with QR.
I book these flights only by phone with an employee very competent.
Problem with the return flight: we have more than 15hr layover in DOH awaiting our connecting flight but this will be a great opportunity to visit Doha capital city of Qatar.
Furthermore,it's a happy coincidence that will allow me with the following routing to fly 3 times with the dreamliner

very early arrival to the carpark of Zaventem after 1 h 35, drive from my home.
quick passage to checking and throught the passport and customs control
I never not noticed these shop VS in the terminal waiting for a passage of Durian;)
when I arrive in airside,I am very excited to see the dreamliner:A7-BCK in service since 08/01/13
BRU is not spotter-friendly

a hot lunch is served:I choose beef:it's a good meal but plastic cutlery I'am disappointed for a 5*
I ask for a glass of champagne during the lunch:it will be served rapidly
tea,coffee and liqueurs after the meal
clean toilets with blue mood-lighting

IFE work very well with an adequate selection of music and movies
screen is of good definition and size

Thanks for this great report! I think I missed the original one in French so thanks very much for translating it! Beautiful pictures as usual and lots of great detail. The cabin looks very inviting, but I also know that a 787 in 3-3-3 is essentially as cramped as a 777 in 3-4-3 and your comfort grading reflects that. Looking forward to more reports in English!
