Taipei airport, I expected you to be much better! Such an old airport which smells like monkeys. The good thing is automatic immigration points.
China Airlines Business Class TPE Lounge
What a cold lounge! We were greeted at the entrance very politely and entered the empty space, which felt like a fridge. It was so cold there! Why? Outside is so great weather, we escaped European winter to be frozen at the airport? Seriously, what is this freezing culture in the airports?
The lounge was deserted nearly all the time during our visit. The food selection was great with many hot options available. We found interesting the Happy Cow cheese and gummies.
We had problems getting connected to WiFi. It kicked us out every few minutes.
We also had a shower which was very needed to keep us warm in this freezor. It was nice, clean, ready to serve.
The Flight
We were heartily welcomed by a lovely cabin manager by our names and offered a better seat. Great approach to Skyteam Elite Plus members, China Airlines!
After our previous flight from HKG I expected a better meal. This was nothing to talk about, a standard airplane economy meal.
Singapore Arrival
It really proved itself as one of the best airports in the world. Clean, efficient, very nice!
