Hello Everyone! Welcome to my second attempt at writing a trip report. This time my excuse for the brevity is that I'm sleep deprived and am writing this on the train home…
Our trip starts just after security when I remembered I was meant to take photos for you lot, and where I decided to splash out on the aspire lounge. Not the best €30 I've spent but I had enough cava and croissants to justify the price.

After spending the last of my Bulgarian lev on some form of grape spirit it was down to a bus gate and for a fun drive to a very remote stand.
Also apologies for the not great quality of the next fews pics, it was dark, foggy, and I need a new phone!

Today's seat was 25A, windows alignment wasn't great but the big windows on the A220 make up for this. After a small delay, we headed off to a decing pad and took off 30 mins late.
My seat mate later explained that in WW2 the airport was built on a Basin so that it would be well hidden. Indeed, I didn't except to be out of the cloud layer so quickly

The smell of Bulgaria Air staple ham and cheese sandwiches quickly followed. I enjoyed mine with a white wine. Coffee was served later on, although the powered creamer ruined the laste for me.
And whilst my fat fingers only managed to grab one chocolate bar, this wasn't a bad thing as it was triple the weight of what Lufthansa and Swiss hand out

The in-flight magazine was a rather formal affair. As a true avgerk I went straight for the route map and fleet info.
A copy of bloomberg business magazine was also included in each seat back, which had some pretty interesting articles on travel tips.

After a brief nap and a long descent we touched down on the Polderbaan, paste the former Fokker Farm and I bid goodbye to my Boston bound seat mate. I had a 3 hour Layover before heading on to Manchester on a new KLM A321 (with more free wine!)

Nice report, have you got any pictures of the cabin/seat?
Also I'm not sure if it's an issue on my end or not but the tourism bonus appears to be empty
Thank, struggled to get any good cabin pics as people kept getting in the way, and I didn't want to hang around oboard too long! Not sure whats going on with the tourism pics, they're showing when I go in to modify, but yes they've stopped showing on the actual report!
Fair enough!
Hopefully the team can find out the problem with the bonus, it would be interesting to see
All I can say is to not spend any money on any Aspire Lounge anywhere. They're often a huge letdown and I haven't come across one that is actually worth to visit it to actual spend some money on them if not incl. with memberships like PP.
How was the cabin crew on your flight?
Thanks for your report as we don't see a lot of Bulgaria Air on here.
Thanks for the comments. Yeah I agree, I've it was a pretty unaspiring (Pun unintended) place to be, and I don't normally drink before lunch but I wanted my moneys worth (and think I got it!). Food options were very limited too, with not hot breakfast.
I found a few reviews online which showed the exact same sandwich - I'm not a good narrator but I now that reports on these lesser known airlines are appreciated!
Cabin crew were rather distant and reserved but I wouldn't say they were rude. I asked for a second sandwich which they had no problem with but what I think was the Purser dropped it off and rushed off before I could even say thank you.
Glad to find other people reviewing such a hidden gem! Bravo!
