Hi,
Security check at T2 was quick using the dedicated Business Class lane at this quiet evening.
Air Baltic Business Class guests have access to the Lufthansa Business Class Lounge - I used the one at G gates area of T2.
It was rather crowded this evening.

The buffets provide plenty of choices.

Boarding started well ahead of time and the flight was not very busy.

I took my window seat in the last row of Business Class.

The seats are modern and nice with a good pitch.

The male Purser approached me soon with a printed menu and asked if I would prefer water or orange juice for welcome drink on the ground. I took a glass of juice. Nice to get a welcome drink which is very rare on European flights for most airlines.

Soon a safety video was played on the cute small monitors - I really liked them.

Nice mood lighting:

We took off on time for a flight of 1 hour 55 minutes to Latvia.
Air Baltic still has a nice and proper inflight magazine - also rare those days.

About 15 minutes after take off a nice hot towel started the service.

Followed by drinks from the trolley - I had some Champagne and water. Unfortunately there are no snacks or nuts with the aperitif.

Only ca. 10 minutes later the dinner was served from the trolley and some warm bread from a basket. Strangely no more drinks - only tea or coffee proactively. So I asked for some white wine and more water. Eventually the flight attendant served it to me some while later. A strange service protocol.

The meal itself tasted nice and was very good for such a 2 hour flight across Europe.

I had some coffee with my dessert.

Drinks were never proactively offered apart from the very first service which was somehow bad (especially given the empty cabin). So I called the flight attendant again after my meal and asked for Gin Tonic which was then served (but without smiles).

We landed perfectly on time - here a last shot of my aircraft.
