Al Maha Lounge
Stopped by Al Maha Lounge for a quick visit. Check-in was fast, and it wasn’t crowded. The food selection was OK — plenty of appetizers like hummus, chickpeas, and tabbouleh. There were also vegetable and tuna sandwiches. The hot food included tomato soup, mushroom soup, mushroom pasta, and vegetable noodles. I tried a bit of pasta, a sandwich, and the mushroom soup. The mushroom soup honestly just felt like mushroom slices dipped in raw soy sauce. They had a good variety of coffee and drinks too. The lounge air conditioning wasn’t working, though, and I’m not a fan of lounges without carpeting. At least the main areas should be carpeted for a warmer and cozier vibe.

DOH-MCT Trip
The aircraft was a 737 Max. The seats were spacious with ample legroom, and each had an individual air vent above. I loved the dimmed blue light ambiance inside the plane—it created a nice vibe. Cabin crew were very nice and welcoming. Even though it was an hour long flight, passengers were served water, Oman chips, and a delicious chicken sandwich. The in-flight entertainment (IFE) system was also impressive, with a good selection of movies and TV shows. What stood out most for me was the flight map, which worked like Google Maps—you could zoom in, zoom out, and even see structures beneath. The IFE also featured some stunning pictures of Oman, showing off how beautiful the country is. I liked that there were USB charging slots. The flight departed and landed on time.
