Namaste everyone !

Welcome to this exciting flight report which was also my very first time flying with Akasa on the special occasion of the festival of colors "Holi".I took this flight back in 2023 and at that time the flights at my homebase operated through our older temrinal i.e (T2) which was a smaller terminal compared to the present (T3) so this is quite a nostalgic flight report for me. This flight is operated on 737 MAX 8 Reg. (VT-YAG) and the total duration of this flight from my homebase,Lucknow (LKO) to the Garden City of Bagalore/Bengaluru (BLR) is a little over 2 hours covering a distance of over 1500 KMs.

These pictures are of the check in counters and the boarding gate area of my older terminal. We also have 2 aerobridges in that terminal but for this flight we had a shuttle bus transfer to the plane.

I personally deslike shuttle bus boarding UNLESS its an ATR or a simillar smaller aircraft but one positive of the bus boarding is you get to see the tarmac and planes which is always a treat for an Avgeek like me.

There is our bird parked next to this Saudi Arabian Airlines A333 (HZ-AQE) National Day Livery which is a frequent visitor at my homebase. After the expansion of our tarmac/terminal and runway we are anticipating more international airlines coming to my homebase also Saudia and others tweaking their aircrafts to 777s or 787s.

The boarding was smooth with passengers seated at the rear directed board from the aft and I was seated at 25A so being a frequent flyer I kinda know already these boarding procedures so instead if waiting for directions I directly headed to the aft because as a Youtuber I try to get into the plane first so I could document and click pictures of the cabin without disturbing anyone.

The cabin looked absolutely fresh and clean, the seats were well maintained and everything was just very well organized given the aircraft at that time was just over 3 years and 6 months old.The seat pocket contents included basic safety instuctions card and a Café Akasa Menu booklet for passengers opting to purchase food items onboard.

The legspace was comfortable and ample and to be honest I've never had any issues with legspace on any boeing 737 aircrafts even the NG series ones too and including LCCs like Spicejet which is weird for the times I've hewrd people complaining about 'em is just crazy.

Also all passengers were given a water bottle as we boarded which is something I love about Akasa and Air India Express and I hope other Low Cost Airlines at least adopt this practice.

Anyways,we took off on time from RWY 09 and nade a turn to right towards south enroute BLR as we climbed to our cruising altitude of 39,000 FT and shortly after that the seat belt signs were turned off and the cabin crew prompted their inflight services conspicuously serving those with pre booked meals following the on baord sales.

I had already pre booked my meal which was a special festive meal on the occasion of "Holi" and it included Breads with spiced minced paneer along with "gujiyas" or sweetened puffs for desert along with holi special drink "Thandahi" and a fruit juice pack with environment friendly cuttlery.

Overall it was delicious but the bread could have been more fresh and soft so thats all.I also did a lav tour and it was kept clean throughout the flight and overall the crew was attentive and nice throughout the flight.Soon after the cruise we were on the descent into BLR as the beautiful coloured cabin lights came back on and the dusky orange shade started to turn into night and we made our approach into BLR on time.

I hope you all enjoyed this flight report and thank you for flying with me
