Namaste everyone
This is my short flight from Nagpur (NAG) to the holy city of Nashik (ISK).Its short hop of just about an hour and twenty minutes though it was completed in 1 hour and 19 minutes but one minute doesn't really count as an early arrival I guess lol.

Here is a SUKHOI 30 MKI model placed at the enterance of the Nahsik Airport terminal always reminding you that you are at a defense airfield but honestly as an Avgeek it was too tempting to leave without buying one for myself but then there weren't any shops where I could have bought one so yeah just glad to have taken a pic of this.
This airport handles only a few flights and all of them are operated by IndiGo to BLR,IDR,NAG,DEL etc
This flight was operated on the same aircraft ATR 72-600 (VT-IGR) that flew me from Lucknow to Nagpur and so the cabin and seat were same and not really anything else to review given I had not opted for any meals on this sector either.
We tooo off from RWY 32 of NAG and climbed at 12,000 FT and after about an hour into the flight we descended and made our way into (ISK) RWY 27 and landed on time.
But a little history about Nashik Airport (ISK) its a defense airport so photography and videography is'nt allowed on the tarmac but you can take a photo or video inside the civil enclave which is the parking area or inside the terminal building but you cant take any photos on the tarmac so just keep that in mind.
I'll just share some shots of the terminal building and the sights of Nashik that I saw on my visit.

Given it was a short flight of just 1 hour and 20 minutes and the same aircraft with me not having any meals etc to taste there wasn't really much to review, however, the civil enclave of this defense airport itself is built at one corner of the precinct right adjacent to RWY 09. We arrived on time and it was a decent flight with 6E yet again.I hope you enjoyed this flight report.
I had a great time in Nashik where I visited one of the most auspicious temples in India called Triambakeshwar Temple which is just about 20 or so KMs from the main city and there are regular city buses which you could hop on and pay your obeisance at the temple and come back the same day.I had a great time going around the city so Im uploading a few shots of Nashik and surrounding areas as well, hope you all like it.

Once again thank you very much for flying with me on this short hop and stay tuned for more exciting flight reports.
