Namaste everyone !
Today we are flying from Nashik (ISK) to the beautiful city of Indore (IDR) with IndiGo on an ATR 72-600 registration (VT-IYD) My flight no. is 6E 7109 and this flight was delayed by about half an hour but overall a fun experience flying out of a defense airport where I also spotted a peaccok.

Nashik Airport is located in the Ozar area, which is in the outskirts of Nashik city and its a defence airport with a civil enclace for domestic flights and it also has an international section as well and also a cargo terminal given Nashik is known for its grapes farming and wine production along with its historical and religious significance.
The first thing that you spot when entering the airport precinct is the lush greenry and thr airport terminal has a huge SU 30 MKI model at the entry gate reminding you that its an airforce airport.Upon entering you are welcomed with a model of ancient carvings that are found in one of the caves near nashik.I must say thats very thoughtful of the designers to make it at least a little vibrant to compensate for its small size.
This is a small airport terminal and only one airline operates from here i.e IndiGo so only a few check in counters and X ray machines and a limited space for security check as well.

I had already done my web check in but I don't like to always have my digital boarding pass on my phone for various check points as its a counter productive to my videography so I always get a physical boarding pass too either at the Check In Counter or via kiosk and at ISK they dont have kiosks so I got my boarding card from the counter and it was fairly quick.
The flight was delayed for about 30 minutes but the boarding was smooth without a hassle and I was the first ones to board but given its a defence airport I couldn't film the entire shuttle ride to the aircraft and the boarding process as you would see in the video version of this flight report on my channel.
We took off from RWY 09 and flew over the lush green grounds of nashik which faded into haze as we climbed up the curising altitude of 15000 FT and the crew began its inflight service. of which I had'nt opted for any edibles on this flight.

Shortly after about 30 or so minutes in the flight we began our descent into IDR and made final approach towards RWY 25 and completed our flight in about an hour.Overall a decent flight but not liking the delays that seem to have become quite often on 6E flights now a days, I do hope IndiGo looks into it and fixes it.

I hope you all enjoyed this flight report, I thank you all for flying with me today, stay tuned for more exciting flight reports.
