Hi,
Security check was quick via the Fast Track lane and soon I was in Terminal 1 module D on the way to the Lounges.

Finnair premium customers are allowed to use the Air France KLM Lounge here at Munich.

The Lounge has recently been renovated and provides a calm and nice atmosphere.
There also is a dedicated First Class corner.

The small buffet offered enough choices for a breakfast.

My small selection:

Soon I was on the way to the Finnair A350 widebody which would operate this intra European flight today.

Boarding had almost finished and I entered the excellent looking cabin:

My window seat:

Legroom is perfect.

The whole cabin atmosphere was very stylish and quiet.

The seat offers some nice stowage boxes:

A bottle of water and simple headsets were waiting on the tray next to my seat:

We pushed back perfectly on time and soon took off into cloudy skies for a flight of 2 hours to Finland.

Climbing to cruising altitude.

Soon the crew offered nice hot towels.

I was expecting some drinks and maybe nuts next but nothing happened until the main meal service which was disappointing. There were only around 10 guests in Business Class and about 3 - 4 ladies serving this cabin but it took until ca. 50 minutes into the flight when I was approached with a simple meal tray without choices:

Warm bread was offered from a basket plus drinks.
I had a glass of white wine in the very nice typical Finnair Business Class by Finnish company Iitala.

The meal tasted fine but it missed any dessert or chocolate which was strange. Also the cabin crew never offered drink refills etc.
When finally my tray was cleared I asked for a cup of coffee and some Finnish liquor (similar to Baileys) which tasted very nice.

A visit to the nice lavatory with window:

We started our descend into Helsinki soon.

Landing on time at a surprisingly sunny Helsinki Airport.
