Hello everyone welcome to another trip report my a330 300 flight home after my vacation in shenzhen and hongkong i spent a great time exploring hongkong and shenzhen and enjoy most of my shopping there.

we did manage to checkin online one day prior to departure and select seats on the foward section of the A330 300 we also took cityflyer A10 outside the hotel upon checkout of the hotel and did enjoy the view along the way to the airport and pass by some residential housing which remind me of HDB flats back in singapore. We arrive at the airport shortly and check in was done at row A using the automated checkin we then drop our lugguage at the baggage drop machine we then head to lunch at mcdonalds before passing thru security and immigration
The security and immigration took about 5 minutes despite no queue at security and most foreigners can use the Egate using the smart departure lane and we are in airside in no time our gate is gate 40 which require for us to take the automated people mover to the other end of the airport and we made our way to our gate here my ride home from hongkong its a 10 year old 4 months airbus a330 300 B LBI (Lima bravo indigo) it was delivered to cathay pacific on feburary 2015 and transfer to cathay dragon on feburary 2017 when cathay dragon is ceased operation it returned back to cathay pacific on december 2020 it much younger as the ride to hongkong on another A330 300 B LAD and it arrive from singapore as cx 658 and make another trip to singapore as cx635 and cx636

Age 10 years and 4 months delivered to cathay pacific on feburary 2015 and transfer to cathay dragon on feburary 2017 and returned back to cathay pacific on december 2020 due to cathay dragon closure.

Spotted another Cathay pacific a330 300 B lax heading to phom penh cambodia parked beside our a330 300
boarding commence by zone and we line up to board our a330 300 back to singapore and walk down the jetbridge to our aircraft
we seated on 58A which is at the back of the foward section of the A330 300
and the nice view of the A330 300 beside us
There headset and magazine right infront the inflight entertainment has good selection of movies ,tv shows and music despite cathay pacific won the skytrax award for best inflight entertainment
There is also an interactive flight map which works this time on my flight home
The safety video was played after the cabin door is closed while waiting for pushback
we push back the gate while safety video is still playing and the Loud Airbus a330 engine start before taxing to runway 7R for takeoff and taxi past fleet of cathay B777 300 er
we take off at 3.34Pm and flying above hongkong city bidding hongkong goodbye as well as flying over tsing ma bridge and hongkong island
by the time i finnish my movie were flying over vietnam coast and we should be home in about 2 hours
1 hour after takeoff dinner was served there were a choice of fish with mash potato or chicken with rice it took awhile to reach my seat and i go for the fish with mash potato it was delicious along with the barley with smoke duck and a fruit bowl even the usual bread and butter and metal utensils
I did watch snow white remake during the dinner service and i enjoy with an apple juice and Haagen-dazs vanilla ice cream for dessert
There wifi onboard the a330 300 however its not complimentary as singapore airlines as need to pay to use the wifi service
After watching snowwhite we started our decent into singapore runway 20C and made a quick taxi to gate G19 for disembarkation
We touched down at 6.53PM 13 minutes early and taxi past jetstar asia a320 and airasia 9m aqi the exact same a320 that i took to penang back in march 2017 and park right next to jetstar australia B787 8 Vh VKH heading to melbourne later as JQ8
we disembark from the A330 300 and had a last look at B LBI before it return to hongkong as CX636 1 hour later
Immigration took about 1 minutes despite no queue for the Eiacs and the passportless immigration clearance i did manage to complete the Singapore arrival card (SGAC) with health decleration no more than 3 days before my trip home which can be done on the ica website or the my ica app and cleared thru the passportless immigration clearance with facial recognition and took quite a while for our suitcase to arrive before taking the maxi cab home at the ground transportation counter alough this is a good trip report and defintely would take cathay pacific again to and from hongkong see you next time on pheeplanes bye.
