Welcome to another translation from french reports of flights to the US and Canada.
As almost usual my trip starts in BSL for a flight to AMS with KLM Cityhopper.
A F70, as scheduled:
Boarding was called on time and priorities are respected that will allow me to take some cabin shoots:
The seats are the slimline, non reclinable, hard as rock simili-leather seats. I hate them and will alwaws do :)
Rear galley:
Rear loo:
On time take-off and the breakfast snack is served by a lovely crew, smilling and attentive. A scrambled egg sandwich was served, I'll take some apple juice and a coffee to go with:
The snack was good, it was fresh and tasty. The coffee was very good and the juice … was juice ^^
Some inflight and take off shoots. I didn't know at that time that the F70 flaps could extent till 42°, quite impressive:
777-200F Emirates landing:
And Darwin, a swiss company now rebranded as Etihad Regional :
A last look at the Rolls Royce engine:
Nice to read about your trip on the F70. That is one rare bird and I wish I can have the chance to fly on it someday despite its uncomfortable seats.
Catering on KL looks much better than its sister AF.
Thanks.
Beautiful shots of the F70! I like the details of it and the flaps grid.
Besides the dreadful seats, the crew and catering seem really good.
