LH1985 on July 6, 2025 Check-In & Boarding
The check-in and security process at the airport went fairly smoothly. From entering the airport to getting through security and the boarding pass check, the entire procedure took about 20 minutes, which was quite efficient.
The departure gate for this flight was B20. Boarding was organized into five groups. Since I had a window seat, I was assigned to boarding group 3. The process was well-structured and moved along at a steady pace.
Seat & Onboard Amenities
My seat offered sufficient legroom, which made the short flight quite comfortable. In the seat pocket, there were three items provided: the Lufthansa Safety Information Card, the Onboard Delights menu, and the Worldshop magazine, which featured a range of duty-free products.
The seat was also equipped with a small, foldable tray table—practical for placing drinks or a small snack during the flight.
View & In-Flight Snack
The view from my seat, 23F, was beautiful throughout the flight. With clear skies for most of the journey, I had a great look at the landscape below—definitely a seat I can recommend for anyone who enjoys looking out the window.
As a small in-flight refreshment, we were offered a 300ml bottle of still water and a piece of Lindt milk chocolate. The chocolate was very tasty and a nice touch for a short flight.
There were no turbulences at all, which made for a very calm and relaxing flight experience.
Landing
Having flown many times in my life, I can confidently say that this was one of the best landings I’ve ever experienced. It was incredibly smooth—you could barely feel the moment the wheels touched the runway. It almost felt like we were still gliding above the ground, even though we had already landed. A truly impressive and gentle touchdown.

Overall, this flight with Lufthansa (LH1985 on July 6, 2025) was a very pleasant and smooth experience from start to finish. The check-in and security process was quick and efficient, boarding was well organized, and my seat (23F) offered great comfort and a beautiful view throughout the flight.
The in-flight service was simple but thoughtful, with a refreshing bottle of still water and a delicious piece of Lindt milk chocolate. The absence of turbulence made the journey especially relaxing, and the landing was outstanding—by far the smoothest I’ve ever experienced.
A truly enjoyable short-haul flight that left a very positive impression.
