Welcome to my new flight-reports!

First of all, my apologies for using the Super Constellation as cover, as this trip report won't cover a Connie flight, but you need to have something that catches eyes to be read, don't you?

This July, I decided to head to Key West for a short break, fasten your seat belts and if you'd like, you can follow my adventures ^^

  • Euroairport- Amsterdam KL / J E90: Now
  • Amsterdam - Atlanta DL / J A330-300: Later
  • Atlanta - Key West DL / F B737-700: Even later
  • Key West - Atlanta DL / F B737-700: Even later than later
  • Atlanta - Paris CDG DL / J B767-400: After the even later than later
  • Paris CDG - Euroairport AF / Y ATR72-500: Shouldn't be reported, unless a miracle happens.

You're all set, you know everything now.

As the lounge access is now granted for KL pax, I arrive early enough to enjoy one of the best lounges in Europe. It has not changed since my last, and Numéro 02, visits:

There is a slight difference however: the scrambled eggs and the lovely chicken sausages have disapeared. That's a pitty as it was the best part of the buffet :(

I'll head to the outside terrasse to spot a bit. You can clearly see who the master is here:

The lovely purser brings me the breakfast box in a very classy style. However, the lids on the dishes are not removed, even if it is stated on them: remove before serving :)^^

I ate everything: it was good and fresh. The pastrami and the cheese were very good, so was the custard. A very good breakfast!

After an hour flight, we begin our descent towards wet Amsterdam:

Conclusion

This concludes the first part of my trip. To summarize, it was a very pleasant flight, with a lovely crew. I regret, however, that there is no french newspapers on board and that there is no more hot items in the lounge.
