Hey everyone! It's my first flight report here and I wish you like my report.
My flight today is operated by Malindo Air, with a Boeing 737-900ER from Kuala Lumpur (KLIA2) to Bangkok (DMK).
The long ques at the check-in counters…
The flight was quite full and I was one of the last to check-in, unfortunately I got one of the last rows…
The new and modern terminal :)
Finding my gate…
It's a mistake to go in the air-side so early as there aren't any shops there accept some cafes, the idea is to hang around the terminal as there is a mall there and to go in the air-side maybe 10-30 minutes before the gate closes..
Airline: Malindo Air
Aircraft type/Seat no.: B737-900ER/29A
Origin/Destination: Kuala Lumpur/Bangkok
Departing time/Arriving time: 1240/1350
Flight duration: 2 HR 10 MIN
Boarding in progress
The push-back was slightly delayed due to some issues, so we were pushed-backed only at 1245, which was already past the departing time.
Push-back
Taking off…
IFE of the flight
The IFE screen was big enough, but the quality wasn't up to other airlines standard, but still acceptable. Lousy selections, and music was not available although there was a music section.
Cabin view with sky interior of different colours.

Lavatory visit
(So so sorry, the other pictures of the lavatory can't be uploaded as it is oversized..)
Buy-on-board food service started, and I bought cup noodles which costed RM5(USD 1.60), and tasted not bad..(all instant noodles tastes good, right? Hehe!) (the picture of the noodles was over-sized too, so I couldn't upload it. :( Sorry!) Free biscuits and a packet of water was also provided, but it didn't taste well and was quite messy to eat biscuits in the plane.
Cruising, but was quite a bumpy and noisy flight…
We landed a few minutes late, and disembarking from the plane then started.
My seat for the last 2 hours…
The business class seats, looks comfortable! :)
Walking to the immigration
I waited for almost half an hour just to go through the immigration and the que wasn't that long, the officers was really inefficient!
The baggage came out after an hour of the arrival time, making all of us stranded in the airport!
There are free software which are easy to download and use for reducing, or re-framing pictures, blurring parts of the pictures (faces), etc... I use Irfanview, but there are others too. Anyway, we all know what cup noodles look like, don't we ;) I disagree about the taste of many of them, though :)
Try to take landscape (horizontal) pictures when you can : they fit better in the computer screen. Also refrain from taking pictures while walking : this is why several of your pictures are slightly blurry. It only takes a brief stop to have a much better picture.
I would not give all these hints if I did not think that this is a good first FR, and that you have the potential for posting great ones.
Thanks for this one, and welcome among the contributors !
Thanks for sharing this informative and detailed report. Malindo seems to offer a good product overall and the new cabin with Boeing Sky Interior looks really nice. As mentioned above, it's a good idea to blur faces when posting on the web, unless the person pictured gave permission to post. Looking forward to more reports.
