I really liked this old flicker board they had that displayed all of the flight information. I was right above the security lines.

Now we began the long walk to the lounge.

Lounge
We went to the NOA lounge because we had the priority pass through our credit card. The lounge hours are from 7:30am-9:00pm, we arrived just as they were opening. Once we were let in we were shuffled in line where we ordered our food from the counter. This lounge has a strict maximum of two hours and no restrooms.

I ordered the fish pastry and it was not that great.

I also got this chicken dish and it was not bad. There was very little food options here.

This lounge had a small selection of seating but they did have a row of tables and chairs that faced the window so there was a lot of great views.

Gate and Boarding
On the way to the gate we learned that our flight was going to be 20 minutes delayed. The gate was pretty empty when we got there and had lots of seating.

This is our 19 year old A330-300 registered as HL7747. I absolutely loved this view!

In the meantime I did some plane spotting around the terminal. It is always fun to see a 747!

SEAT
We got priority boarding and was one of the first people on the plane. I was in seat 11A which was the second row behind the business class cabin and 2L/R exit row. The seat were just as comfy as they look. They were also just as old as they look. There was lots of padding and pretty thick. The screens were very old and hard to navigate. It also included an armrest which was pretty wide. The tray table was very unstable it rocked back and forth when you tried to pull it down.

The leg room was not as great as some other airlines. The seat also had some headphones. Blankets could be handed out upon request.

The seat did not have any personal air vents but it did have some reading lights.

This was a great view! We pushed back at 9:15 and had a quick taxi and took-off at 9:30.

I have come to love the have a great flight wave!

I am still not sure how I feel about the new livery.

Speedy Takeoff!!

One of the three ANA A380s!!

I was very impressed with the recline of the seats. it was not great when the person in front of you reclines but it was nice when you recline. This flight was not very full.

Meal Service
I was very surprised to get a full meal tray for a two hour flight. The only option was the pork and rice. It also came with a waffle, pudding, and a cup of water. This was definitely one of the best meals I have had on a plane. It was full of flavor and the rice was actually moist. They then came around with the drink service with coke, orange juice, cold coffee only, and apple juice.

Entertainment
The seatback inflight entertainment system was very outdated. It had the option of movies, tv shows, flight information, and connectivity. This screen was not touch screen so you had to use the remote.

It also had the duty free catalog but I'm am not sure that you would actually be able to buy something from here.

There is actually a surprising amount of flight information on here.

One cool feature that is available is that you can make seat to seat calls along with seat to ground calls for 8 dollars a minute because the remote had a credit card slider. I tried this out with the remote in the seat next to me and it did not work.

Arrival
As we got closer to South Korea the views were amazing!

I was also surprised on how close we were to North Korea it was just across the arrival path. We got within 30 miles from the boarder.

Lots of China Eastern planes here.
