Welcome to the return flight report of my short-lived trip from Penang to Singapore.

Penang Airport Plaza Premium Lounge
As I had spare priority pass uses, I entered the Plaza Premium lounge to make myself comfortable.

As Penang was famous for its food, I left most of the cold food and went for the curry noodles. Delicious for lounge food. Will definitely have this outside the airport too!
Aside from this, there was also steamed rice, curry chicken, blandly cooked broccoli and cauliflower, congee and a black glutinous rice dessert called pulut hitam.

China Southern flight to Guangzhou

Xiamen Airt B737 MAX 8 to Xiamen

Boarding was a mind-boggling affair. We used the same gate as the Xiamen Air B737, but we were ushered down a staircase unescorted to the aircraft. An interesting experience that allowed me to photograph 9M-AGU, a 8.4 year old A320 at the time of writing.
I kept my expectations low again as I boarded.
Inflight experience: Adequate

This time, I did not pre-order any food as I forgot to do so.
Feeling peckish, I ordered Mum's butter cake, a snack with a cute name for RM9. However the name is a lie since there was no butter but margarine instead.
It tasted perfectly alright, but it's identical to the SATS butter cake served to Singaporean soldiers as a supper item.
The flight landed smoothly at Changi Airport Terminal 4 at 8pm or so, after 1h 5min of flight time.
