Review of Lufthansa flight from Nice to Munich in Economy

I had a fantastic time in NCE and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of this Mediterranean city. It is evident that this part of France has a very strong Italian influence and here are a couple of pictures from my walks. Due to its close proximity to NCE, I also took a side trip to Monaco.

The day of my departure, lagentsecret and I went to the airport together. He had a longer layover since his flight did not depart until about 6-7 hours later. I checked at the LH counter in T1 and was helped by a cheerful agent who made me check my carry-on citing that it exceeded the weight limits. Then I headed upstairs and after a few minutes I said goodbye to lagentsecret and went through security which was a quick and painless.

Boarding started a few minutes late and once inside the jetbridge, we were held for an additional 5-10 minutes. There were two FA's at the door chatting and one of them acknowledged my greeting and replied back when I passed them.

Thankfully my neighboring seat was empty and I was able to stretch out Unfortunately I was sitting at the wrong side of the plane because I missed all the spectacular views of the Riviera upon take off ( I was on the right side).

FA's went into action by distributing sandwiches and drinks. The crew today lacked warmth except for the male FA who was attentive and professional. His female counterpart working in the back just went through the routine like a robot. At first she just gave the turkey salami sandwich to everyone and when some passengers inquired about another choice, she went around distributing the other option to each passenger who asked for the other choice after she finished giving away the salami ones.
