Review of Lufthansa flight from Munich to Gothenburg in Economy

I had about 1 hr. to connect in MUC and decided to stop by the LH Worldshop to get a carry on bag in blue. Unfortunately they did not have that model and the clerk suggested me to go to the store outside of security. I did not want to go out and clear again when I re-entered so I went straight to the gate.

MUC is an efficient and user friendly airport and I always enjoy connecting through it. On my way to the gate I noticed several hot beverage machines at the gates where passenger can help themselves to a coffee or tea. A big thumbs up to LH for installing these drink stations and making the airport experience a bit more civil.

The gate had plenty of space to stretch out and when it was time to board, we descended through some stairs in order to catch a bus that will take us directly to the plane. I took the first bus and boarded the plane from the back. A smiling FA was positioned at the rear entry door welcoming passengers.

A few minutes later the second bus arrived and passengers finished boarding the plane. Our flight today was going to be full. Once the doors closed the seat belt sign was turned on and we taxied to the runway.

Take off.

FA's went into action by handling a piece of cake followed by drinks. The cake was good and not too sweet.

The crew was really proactive and friendly, offering a second round of drinks after the distribution of the snack with beverages. Eventually we got ready for our landing at GOT and it looked like a cold and rainy day.

We had to use the stairs to disembark and be taken by bus to the terminal. Not ideal on a day like this. Once inside the terminal I made my way to the baggage claim area to retrieve my checked bag that LH refused to allow me to carry onboard due to excess weight.

I got my bag but noticed later that my FR tag and a zipper to expand the bag was missing. How on earth can a zipper fall off? Thankfully my metal AF tag was still intact.
I stayed at the Landvetter Airport hotel which is a couple of meters from the terminal since I had an early morning departure the following day. The hotel was extremely convenient and very cozy. The bed in my room was one of the most comfortable that I had slept on.
