I arrived into Bangkok after coming from Singapore on a Jetstar flight. I managed to get through transit security in under 10 minutes where I headed up stairs to the transfer desk to collect my onward boarding passes for my next two Cathay Pacific flights. I headed to the lounge, which to be honest, was fairly mediocre. The food options were fairly limited and unappealing.

I eventually headed down to the gate, to grab a picture of the aircraft. The deign of BBK isn't particularly friendly to those wanting to get a picture of their aircraft.

Boarding was called with Business class and elite CX and oneworld frequent fliers being called first. I made my way to seat 14A where I was promptly offered a welcome drink. My first impression of the seat were good. It was roomy and there was plenty of storage space.

Before take off, the customer service manager came and handed out menus and greeted the passengers.

The taxi out to the runway was quick and we were in the air no more than 10 minutes after leaving the gate.
When we were in the air, the dinner service began soon after. For my dinner, I had the slow cooked chicken breast with a glass of the Billiecart Salmon champagne.

After dinner, the crew came around cleared the trays and the offered ice cream and coffee or tea to which I ordered a coffee.

I relaxed for the rest of the flight, watching a few tv shows and grabbing a few snaps of the wing from my choice of three windows.

We landed in Hong Kong and taxied to gate 60 something. I jumped on the train and headed to immigration which was completed quickly. After wandering over to terminal 2 to get the bus to the Marriott I was at the hotel within about 45 minutes of stepping off the plane.
Thanks for sharing your first FR and welcome aboard
you could add few pictures of the lounge and of the cabin and your report would be perfect
CX's product is rather solid but an ice cream in a plastic box is not a Business class dessert
See you soon for a next FR
Thanks for sharing this first report with us! That CX seat is awesome for such a short flight. I'm surprised they don't use an aircraft with regional Business class on this route. The meal looks good except for the cup of ice cream with looks a bit tacky. Get some pics of the lounge next time :-) Looking forward to more reports from you.

The new J cabin layout is a significant improvement over the previous infamous herringbone CX business class layout.
The captions of the first pictures on board seem jumbled up. You probably did not set the grades of the lounges, presently all at the default 5 value.
As already mentioned, a few shots more and it would be a very good report
Thanks for sharing, and welcome among the contributors !
Welcome and thank you for sharing this regional report.
CX is a solid choice and as others have mentioned, the dessert in J is a weak point.
Thank you for the feedback. I've added the only two photos of the lounge that I have.
