Returning back to Jo'burg from Lilongwe with a stop in Blantyre. We boarded about 15 minutes late, even though the aircraft overnighted in Lilongwe. The load was much higher on this flight compared to the inbound with about half the business class seats occupied and economy looked about 80% full from Blantyre to Jo'burg.
Our neighbor heading to Dar es Salaam
We ended leaving Lilongwe about 20 minutes late. This time, the crew did provide a juice run on the short flight to Blantyre.
Breakfast was served from Blantyre to Jo'burg. There were three choices: omelette, fish and something else which I cannot remember.
Hot milk was poured on the cereal, which tasted weird to me. Everything else was quite tasty.
Approaching Blantyre
Blantyre Airport

We landed in Jo'burg about 10 minutes late.
Thanks for the FR! (you should update the flight number to be 3W and not ET)
According to airfleets, 3W operates only a 738 and Dash 8 so you have now spotted the entire 3W fleet!
Warm milk with cereal? Doesn't sound too appetizing. A pretty standard Western breakfast offering. I will give them credit for providing actual salt and pepper shakers though.
How was the crew on the flight, is their service cold or friendly? Were they ET crew or does 3W have their own crew?
The crew on this flight worked a lot harder than the inbound flight. All the crew were Malawian. I'll add a couple more photos to the report.
Thanks a lot of taking the time to add more photos, it's really appreciated. It's very green and lush in Malawi with very nice scenery.
BLZ looks like an abandoned warehouse, not sure if I'd want to get off there...
I look forward to more reports from you.
Hi,
Thanks for this very short report.
Catering seems to be good.
See you,
Euh... It's short... But i think you enjoyed your flight !
Thanks for this short FR , too bas there are not enough pictures to share the experience with us. The catering looks good.
