Hi all,
Below is another one of my retor FR from August 2007. I was going to Tehran with KLM from Toronto via Amsterdam.
I did not realize that I had my camera set to small pictures and when I got to Iran, I noticed it but all my pics were saved small on the memory but for the return segment they are better. Plus back in days I did not know how to write trip reports so I just took random pix and missed taking pix from meals etc but you can see my improvement by looking at my other FRs lol :D

The sunquest discontinued their operations long time ago and they are not around anymore

I was next to the galley almost and could see the flight crew going in and out and chatting and it was an interesting place to be

Then we went to Amsterdam for 2 days and on August 5th we had our flight to Tehran at 6:15 pm
Our plane to Tehran- KLM A330- Back then these A330s had been recently added to KLM fleet and were very new kind of like Boeing 787s these days. After 747-400, I love A330 the most along all aircrafts :)

And later around 1:10 AM we arrived at Tehran's Mehrabad airport (THR). Back then IKA was not finished yet.

Thank you for sharing this old report. It's good to have a point of reference, doesn't it?
Did KL provide printed menus with a description of their inflight service in Y back then? I know they did during the mid 1990's. You can tell that the crew was in good spirits and it's no surprise that you had great service. KL is a legacy carrier that was known for quality service and AMS has a special place in my heart.
Thanks so much Jetsetpanda. Unfortunately I don't remember if they had a printed menu back then but indeed the service was great and AMS is the best airport I have ever been to. I rated it wrong at the end of my FR and just adjusted it :)
