After a while Citilink Indonesia become one of my choices among other Indonesian airlines basically because of its good reputations and also discounted prices. In 2016 I flew with QG for CGK-JOG and also JOG-HLP for visiting families and in 2015 I flew on QG for SUB-CGK at this report: Fine Emty Flight
The report before on CGK-BTH route with Garuda 154 and now time to back to Bandung, since BTH-BDO route only served by Lion Air and Citilink. So we manage to book Citilink cause its earlier than Lion's schecule one.
We stayed at Habourbay area Batam so its nearly 32 minutes drove to Hang Nadim Airport.
Its the last oppurtunity to back from vacation so the crowd here lil bit overwhelm.
gates and boarding pass, then boarding prosses commenced lil bit late from the schedule.
Ahhh so bad we didn't get the sharklet's QGs armada
Not so busy time here at the tarmac.
Pushback and safety demonstration done manually, by the way we actually just left one passenger who didn't showed up after web check-in so see yaa!
Taxing to the runway, FYI Hang Nadim Airport have its oneof the longest runway in Indonesia around 4000 m or 13200 ft!
Entered the runway 22-04 from taxiway D and soon enough the CFM56 of PK-GLM roarin' and lift up us to the sky!
The terminal building and some abandoned airplanes
The Batam Aero Technic part of Lion Air Group to handling their little maintenance for SL, OD, ID, JT, and IW I supposed.
UP UP and AWAY! We can see Bintan island where Tanjung Pinang is the capital of the Kepulauan Riau Province.
The seat picth of Citilink and the seat pocket contents.
The coloured green head cover actually for priority seats and more leg room kinda? Like every other Low Fare/Cost Carrier the green seat offered for Rp. 80000 or US$5.99 and the reguler seat offered for Rp. 30000 or US$ 2.25!
Buy On Board (BOB) meals for IDR 50.000 or about US$ 3.75
We entered the Sumatera Selatan Province
I almost thought thats we're entered Java island from Banten province or somewhere and I just realise that down there was the Tanjung Priok new container ports and we flew more than 30.000 feet above Jakarta
When the Pilot announced that the plane will be descending in any minute the sky turns to pretty cloudy here.
We can see Gasibu square and Gedung Sate and I can even spot my house!
Make a loop around Gedebage area.
Closer look to Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) as the Main Stadium for Bandung City
We can spot Trans Studio complex area
Bandung City Centre, CBD, Old Town, and surroundings…
Bandung Hilton Hotel… So its going closer when you already can see someone's roof because its super close to the airport.
Bandung Pilot Academy hangar
The Terminal building of BDO
Twin tower of Husein Sastranegara airport
Turn around at the runway 11-29 and back track to the tarmac
Hello PK-AXS WOW! Livery, where actually nothing wow about her. I flew on PK-AXS to Bali - DPS at 2013..
On the Left is new terminal for domestic flights and the right is old terminal for internatinal flights and just got renovated and re-open this early 2017!
So its pretty funny where BDO's parking stand for airplane is different with lots of airport in Indonesia, where… the airplane need pushback car for parking instead leaving the tarmac for depatures. This view happened when the pax triggered to stand and take their belongings even the airplane wasn't fully stopped yet.
Lots of aviation enthusiast called PK-AXS with 'Angry Bird'. PK-AXS used to fly with AK - Air Asia Malaysia with 9M-AFK since 2006 and transferred to QZ - Indonesia Air Asia around 2011 and kept the livery since then..
The nose and wing view. Nice Ride Capt!
Walk to the new domestic terminal
After waited about 10-15 ish minute for my dad's golf bag that we checked the terminal building was pretty busy but yeah totally better after the new terminal building open in 2015.
Drop off area for international and domestic departures area.
To the car park area where its still remain the same…

Citilink Indonesia with its own style serve Indonesia from East to West and North to South. Citilink's cabin crew most of the time I flew with them is really need to keep sontact or at least having little bit conversation with the passengers? Because its been my fourth maybe flew with Citilink and its just way colder than its parent company Garuda Indonesia where their services is warm and hospitality is above and beyond everything but back with Citilink? It doesn't mean LCC need to be this way? Air Asia group I guess still delivery the services on board nicely. The BOB meals never failed me since 2016, the taste was same good as the Garuda's for sure because its made by Aerofood Catering hahaha. Anyway Citilink Indonesia will receive its first A320NEO this year! I'm so excited to try QG's A320NEO andlooking forward to see Citilink improvement in the future and no hesitate to fly to Papua if there's cheap prices!
