Review of Turkish Airlines flight Istanbul → Jakarta in Economy

Welcome back to my final journey to Indonesia after attend summer course at one of German university located on Frankfurt(Oder) not so far away from Berlin and right after traveling thru some cities with my best friend. This is the previous flight report Prague to Istanbul .

IST Airport

Lets begin the story at Istanbul airport on this report! After arrived from previous flight I'm so hard to find wi-fi connection and I still can't connected to the wi-fi at the spot that I got the wi-fi last time. So I gave up, and just sat around the terminal building cause I've exhausted enough to shop or even walk.


After waiting for couple hours to get the information about assigned gate for my flight, then I decided to go to the boarding gates.

At the boarding gates there's plenty nationalities that I found most of the passengers bound to Bali or Lombok on Garuda's codesharing flight with Turkish and have one more transit at CGK Jakarta.

The Flight!

Boarding process commenced lil bit late as usual, I was on the first group to boarded…

As soon as we arrived at the L2 door, there's strap tied up at the door indicates that the crew wasn't ready yet.


My seat for over 10 hours from Istanbul to Jakarta.


Lil peek outside before the seat owner came and I have no outside view during the flight…


Cabin situation after boarding was completed, Taxing, take-off, and everything


Quick check to the lavatory before having super early breakfast or super late dinner?


The Menu, The meal service provided by the airlines that night, continued by tea and coffee service, then the cabin lighting shut for bed time!


Bright cabin after flight more than 8 hours and already on Indonesian airspace, outside view to the wing of this mighty Boeing 777-300ER, and seat pocket contains:


I turned on the Live TV programme on the PTV IFE AVOD and cabin situation.



Descent to CGK as we're getting closer to the Java Island.

Even tho I don't have window seat on this flight, the front facing camera to the runway and taxiway was pretty cool!


Disembark taking kinda long because I was seated on the really back of the aircraft

CGK Airport

Time to deal with immigration, baggage, customs, and pick up


Since Indonesians passport holder already done the immigration way before this desk I just need to pass thru this lanes and go straight to the baggage claim area.
There's couple international flight arrived at T2 close to TK's schedule, there's EK's, KL's, and other airlines.

After waiting my dad and driver to pick me up, directly we went to the apartment located right in the central of Jakarta.
Different Amenity kits from TK, The left one from July (Jakarta to Istanbul) and the right one from August (Istanbul to Jakarta)


Move from apartment to hotel situation for my cousin's wedding & Jakarta's traffic on Friday night.
