Following the red-eye flight MAD-IST and after about 1h00 into the Turkish Airline lounge (not so crowded as in other times I have been there) it was time to board to TBS at gate 207. The aircraft would be B737-800 TC-THS named Amasya, delivered brand new to Turkish Airlines in APR 2013.

Boarding started only 10 min before departure time, so the push back would be about 15 min after schedule. After some holding due to the departure traffic, take-off was at 7h30, 25 min after departure time heading north.

The flight path would take us east, over the Black Sea for an estimated flight time of 1h45. 20 min into the flight it was time for the meal. I didn't expect the box meal as TK serves on domestic flights. The schedule time of the flight is 2h15 so I expected an hot meal.
Instead they presented this:
The food was cold but tasty, with cheese, ham, jam, croissant, bread and fruit. Juices and lemonade, coffee and tea were available on this morning flight.
The landing at Tbilisi international airport was at 10h12, 8 min before schedule.
It would be my first time in Georgia and the airport looks very modern, with 3 airbridges. Embraer 175 of Azerbaijan Airlines landed soon after the TK flight.

Passing the imigration and customs was without any problem and took only 10 min. It was then time to discover the beauties of Tbilisi, which was a nice surprise!

Thanks to share this FR ! I find the meal is fine, compare with other airlines...
