After a 7 day Alaska cruise vacation onboard Holland America Line Zaandam it was to get back home. The ANC-YVR would the first of 5 flight that would take me back to Madeira island (FNC). It would be my first time with the new Air Canada Rouge. That ticket Anchorage-Vancouver in economy class was bought with 12500 Aegean Miles+Bonus miles + 24 EUR (taxes).
The flight would be operated by the A319 C-FYJP delivered to Air Canada in 1997 which arrived on time from the previous flight. Boarding started at 16h10 for a 16h45 departure time. Flight was about 70% full, so I could change from my original 14A seat to the 12F with the seats next to me left empty. The esimated flight time would be 3h00.

As usual with north american airlines (USA and Canada), we have to pay for the food in economy class. But in AC drinks are complimentary. So I bought a wrap for just 6,95 CAD which very reasonable. It was tasty.

Cabin attendants were new with not so much experience. This shall be improved.
With nice views outside the landing at YVR was about 30 min before schedule after a 2h50 flight.

A nice and smooth flight with AC.
Hi :)
Thanks for sharing this report.
I really appreciate AC's livery.
It was a good flight despite of the crew...
See you,
Hi!!
Thanks for sharing this report!
Nice spotting! ;-)
The crew was pretty bad, but the rest of the flight seemed great!
Thanks again ;-)
Nice report !
Nice pictures !
I have some questions for you :
Were you in a rouge plus seat ?
How was the service of the crew ? Why did you put a 4 ?
Thanks for sharing !
I was seated 12F, the first seat of Y class, it was empty there and I asked to move there. The crew was very young and without experience... moreover the french speach was terrible!
Thank you :-)
