Review of LAN Airlines flight from Cartagena to Bogota in Economy

The check-in process was made via smartphone 24 hours before, so I just arrived to the counters to dropp off my backpack, I had no conversation with the agent and the tag was printed in less than five minutes. This airport is small, with few cafeterias and Duty Free shops. I got there by a 20 minutes taxi ride.

After that, I went straight to security, which was getting crowded at the moment, I was asked to remove my shoes, and belt. Once you pass by this process you access to the gates, with a lot of seats there to wait the boarding announcement. Several flights that moment.

An Avianca flight was also on preparation for the same route, the last moments in this sunny and magnificent city.

To board you have to go walking to the aircraft, and was a nice experience, because you can see the parked aircrafts at position, you can take photos, and even pose as I did, without any hassle. At position 4 was this aircraft waiting for us economy passengers. Registration is CC-BFD.

Glad to see this logo, I boarded by the rear door, and was welcomed by the F/A, she showed me the way to my seat.

The flight was full, when the flight annoucements were in process we were informed about the rainy conditions at BOG, I was the first passenger in row 22, but not for long. Very nice Colombian setamates.

I really like the magazine named in, along with the safety card and the disposal bag, which I found to be discreet, don´t you think?. A leaflet about what to do in case of delays and other usual situations when flying was in the seat pocket. Never saw anything similar, I think that´s a very good idea.

The seat pitch is very nice, I can stretch my legs and no problem is caused. The seats were comfortable and kept clean, and the same for the lavatories.

Due to this flight lenght I wasn´t expecting a snack, just a round of beverages, but, suddenly the service announcement was made and I was ready to demand it. Mine consisted of OJ, Colombian coffee, and a box including two bites. I have to say that this was a very good impression.

We landed on time, and had to wait 10 minutes due to traffic departing. It was raining and cold, so, everybody put on their jackets, nobody was running to leave the aircraft.

I had to wait like ten years for my back pack, and of course, something was spilled and my bag was smelling to insect repellent (my fault).
Take off was turbulent.
Entire flight was turbulent.
Landing was turbulent and scary.
