Today's short fight from Singapore to Bangkok is operated by Registration B-LAG, an Airbus A330-300 with 33G configuration in CX's fleet.
Personally I'm not a big fan with the colour of the cabin which seems pretty plain.

The seat itself is fine and as a regional product it is more than adequate. No issue with the good legroom and shoulder room with a typical 2-4-2 configuration in an A330.

I don't really enjoy the Studio CX IFE as they have removed all movie selection from a short flight such as this and you can only watch some tv show, drama or listen to some old music album. There is no exterior camera as well. However the screen is big enough and responsive to use.

After take off there is quite some turbulence and the seat belt sign was kept on for quite a long time. Finally the crew get to begin meal service after the captain turn off the seat belt sign briefly. There was only 1 FA on each cart with a supervisor assiting all of them. So only 4 FA + 1 supervisor serving the whole economy section with 175 seats (33G).

PS: There is no hot towel service
The meal itself is pretty average and cheap looking in my opinion. This is not something I would expect from a 5-star airline. Taste of the food is pretty average. My meal is white rice with some chicken in the very salty gravy, not a very good main course. The other option was Pasta but they ran out of Pasta. It is quite disappointed that the crew are not telling or saying anything that they have ran out of other option, which again is not very professional and they just put the tray on my table without saying anything.

Thanks for sharing this first report here with good details and very nice photos! It's always interesting to see the different perspectives--in the U.S. this short flight with PTVs and a meal would get a 10/10--but with the high quality of carriers in Asia, for those who are used to flying in Asia, this is an average flight. Looking forward to more reports!

Hi Kevin! I very much agree with your comments that in the US and maybe even Europe, having PTV with HD screen and hot meals for regional flight would be a luxury, definitely 10/10. However, in this case, I personally believe and experience first hand how CX's standards have slipped far beyond what they were used to be. All the cost cutting measures that they have done are really hurting them and I don't think CX realizes this. In reality, the meal portion is very small and just like the OP said, the quality is not very good. The FAs are hit and miss too. Some of them are very good but some of them can just stay home and don't even bother to fly. This is definitely different from the more consistent SQ
